The Minister of Industry and Minerals, Khaled Battal Al-Najm, directed today, Wednesday, to release the saved salaries for employees in the liberated cities, and to follow up and resolve the issue of granting security permits.
The ministry stated, in a statement that Mawazine News received a copy of, that "the Minister of Industry and Minerals held an extensive meeting with the chairman and members of the boards of directors of the General Company for Textile and Leather Industries and the General Company for Electrical and Electronic Industries, within the framework of his continuous periodic meetings with the boards of directors of the Ministry's companies."
She added, "The minister expressed, at the outset of the meeting, a number of directives and information that would raise the level of industrial and production companies' performance, including working to solve problems and obstacles by developing real plans and strategies to advance the companies' work."
She pointed to "the need for the private sector to have an important and essential role, as it is considered a real partner and contributor to the development of the industrial environment in accordance with market requirements," pointing to the need to develop and build new factories and production lines with modern technology and international specifications by concluding serious partnership contracts or relying on the available capabilities for obsolescence.
