    The President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, arrived in Nineveh Governorate, today, Wednesday, December 28, 2022, to see the conditions of the city and its residents.

    Upon his arrival, he visited the governorate building, and met the governor, Najm al-Jubouri, and the advanced administrative staff in the provincial council, in addition to the security leaders and a number of the governorate’s deputies, where the President of the Republic referred to the value that Nineveh governorate enjoys for all Iraqis, in addition to its natural and agricultural resources and resources.

    The President of the Republic listened to an explanation from Governor Al-Jubouri about the situation in the governorate and the obstacles that stand in the way of advancing its reality at the service, security and economic levels. In this context, the President of the Republic called for the need for serious endeavor by all relevant parties to revive the province economically, urbanly and culturally, stressing that Mosul is able to overcome the dark periods during the Takfiri gangs, return to its previous position, solve its problems, and enhance its security stability and the unity of its population.

    The President of the Republic stressed the importance of serious work to implement and meet the legitimate demands of the people of the province, in order to reach positive results that improve their reality and fulfill the hopes of their people for a free and dignified life.

    He pointed to the importance of strengthening civil peace and strengthening social ties by urging the adoption of positive ideas that overcome obstacles to the development of Mosul in all fields, stressing the need to improve the service reality of Mosul through the reconstruction of the liberated areas therein, the adoption of modern planning and the start of the completion of projects that are directly related to the life of the city. citizens and to secure all their requirements.

    The President of the Republic is accompanied by a number of ministers, namely, the Minister of Education, Dr. Ibrahim Namis Al-Jubouri, the Minister of Water Resources, Eng. Aoun Diab Abdullah, the Minister of Environment, Eng. Nizar Amidi, the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani, the Minister of Migration and Displacement, Mrs. Evan Faiq Jabro, and a number of senior officials.
