    The figures issued by two separate institutions inside the Turkish side show different numbers on the amount of what Iraq imported from Turkey, and the discrepancy rate is 23%.
    The Turkish Exporters Council said today, Sunday, that Iraq ranked fifth in importing Turkish goods and commodities in 2022, as it imported from Turkey with 10 billion and 477 million dollars.
    On the other hand, the Turkish Statistics Authority, in its latest statistics on the amount of Turkey's exports to Iraq during the 11 months of last year, said that Iraq came third with an import value of 12,602 billion during the 11 months of last year.
    While Turkey's exports to Iraq during the 11 months of the year 2022 amounted to 12.602 billion dollars, this means that the average Turkish exports to Iraq per month amounted to 1.14 billion dollars, and it was expected that the year would end with Turkey achieving exports to Iraq worth more than 13.7 billion dollars.
    While Iraq imported from Turkey in 2021 at a value of $11.1 billion, which means that Iraq's imports from Turkey are expected to rise by 23% during the current year compared to last year.
    It appears that the data of the Exporters Council in Turkey is less than the figures of the Turkish Statistical Authority with a value of 3.2 billion dollars, which means that the disparity rate is 23%, which is a huge disparity rate.
    The trademap site, which provides a trade map for countries for exports and imports, stated that Iraq's trade exchange was mostly with four major countries in the year 2022.
    The site said in its statistics that “China, Iran, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates were the countries that exchanged the most trade with Iraq during the year 2022,” indicating that “exchange with these countries ranged between 20-50%.”
    She added, "India, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, the United States, Germany and Italy were the countries that ranked second in trade exchange with Iraq, with a rate ranging between 1-5 percent."
    She pointed out that "Egypt, Russia, Australia, Canada, most European countries, Brazil and most Asian countries, including Japan, ranked third in trade exchange with Iraq, at a rate of 1%."
