The Council of Ministers decided, in its regular session held yesterday, Tuesday, under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, to honor our national team and compensate the victims of the stampede in Gulf 25 and the traffic accident on the Dhi Qar-Basra road.
In a statement issued by the session, Al-Sudani directed to present a letter of thanks and appreciation to the employees and staff who contributed to organizing the Basra Gulf Championship 25, and directed to support the efforts of the Ministry of Communications and its plan to improve Internet service and reduce its prices.
The Council approved that the Ministry of Finance create titles and job grades within the departments and formations budget to install contractors before October 2, 2019, on permanent staffing within the operational or planning expenses of each formation.
The Council agreed to honor the players of the national football team, the administrative and training staff, members of the delegation and referees from Iraqis only, with free residential plots of 200 square meters in the capital, Baghdad, and to grant them diplomatic passports. The final of the 25th Gulf Championship, and the traffic accident on the Dhi Qar-Basra road "from government banks affiliated to the Ministry of Finance."
