    Tomorrow's Press / Baghdad announced General Company for Ports of Iraq, on Tuesday, that a number of international companies submitted schemes for giant projects on areas of the company.


    The General Director of the company Omran Radi's "Tomorrow's Press," that "the two Americas Tkdmta Ports various projects for the development of the ports of Umm Qasr and the stronghold of the way investment," noting that "one of these projects is to extend rail iron between Iraqi ports and centers, storage and distribution in the provinces Iraq to facilitate the movement of these goods without passing through the cities. "


    He added that "Shell Global are other advanced projects for the development of the port of Khor Al-Zubair, as well as its other report, which provides for the construction of the complex of petrochemical industries in the port of Umm Qasr."


    Radi said that "public company and the Ministry of Transport are studying these projects due to their desire to enter the non-governmental sectors in the transport sector of Iraq, which needs to important projects and on all levels."


    The Ministry of Transport has announced earlier its intention to enter the private sector in the projects and the formation of an ad hoc committee to study the mechanics of the introduction of the private sector to projects of the ministry.
