    The Investigation Department of the Commission announced that its staff in Karbala carried out (8) seizures of cases of manipulation, forgery, embezzlement and fake offers in a number of departments of the province, which resulted in the arrest of (5) suspects.
    And the department stated in a statement that “the team of the Karbala Investigation Office carried out control operations in the municipality, postal, real estate registration, health, police directorate, and the Agricultural Cooperative Bank. Those who were allocated plots of land based on forged papers, in collusion with employees of the Municipality Directorate of the governorate, as the operation resulted in the arrest of two suspects, one of whom is an employee in the municipality who received an amount of (4.5) million dinars from the second defendant, in exchange for allocating a plot of land to him in contrast. for controls. 
    And she added, "In a second operation, it revealed the embezzlement of (1,215,000,000) billion dinars by each of the official and supervisor of the Abu Ghar quarry and the one responsible for the sale, pointing out that the aforementioned forged (10,000) dubels in the name of the property department in the Muthanna governor for the purpose of selling Quarry products, embezzlement of funds and non-delivery to the General Company for Construction Industries, as the case was referred to the competent court.
    And she pointed out that "tampering was detected in the treatment of an agricultural loan worth (600,000,000) million dinars that was granted to a person, pointing out that the manipulation took place in the Directorate of Agriculture of Karbala and the Agricultural Cooperative Bank in the governorate by granting the loan with the guarantee of a property belonging to a citizen without his knowledge and approval. In the Governorate Police Directorate, a contract for equipping (6) police dog detachments to detect explosives and drugs was seized after the Directorate concluded a contract with a fictitious company not registered in the Companies Registration Department with fictitious offers at a cost of (82,800,000) million dinars.
    And she explained that "the office's work team moved towards the provincial health department - Imam Hussein Medical City, after investigation and auditing proved that forgery occurred in the transaction of purchasing medical materials according to a forged purchase receipt, indicating that the dates and signatures of members of the procurement committees, moderation of prices, receipt of materials, and dates of letters of apology were tampered with." And issuing administrative orders to form procurement committees without specifying the period of their work. 
    In Karbala Post and Savings Department, three employees were seized during two separate operations. For their manipulation and embezzlement of approximately (20) million dinars from citizens' accounts and receipts. As for the First Real Estate Registration Department, it was observed that some employees manipulated the real estate registry page of one of the real estate in the city, and crossed out the name of a person who owns shares in the property.
