The presidency reveals the truth about al-Maliki's assignment to the post of first vice president

Shafaq News/ Today, Thursday, the Presidency of the Republic revealed the fact that Nuri al-Maliki, the leader of the State of Law Coalition, was assigned the position of First Vice President.
The spokeswoman for the presidency, Alia al-Jubouri, told Shafaq News agency, "We have not received any notification of assigning the leader of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, to the position of first vice president of the republic, and we have not received anything official in this regard."
Al-Jubouri added, "This information and news is not circulated with us in the Presidency of the Republic."
And social media circulated news that the head of the State of Law Coalition had been appointed to the post of Vice President of the Republic.
