Today, Wednesday, the representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Mahdi Taqi Amerli, confirmed that the draft budget law for the year 2023 will not pass without implementing an important condition.
Amerli told "Baghdad Today" that "if the draft budget law for the year 2023 does not include the rights of all those whose contracts have been terminated by all security services (army, police, crowd), we will not vote on the law."
He added, "We will work, during the discussion and study of the draft budget law for the year 2023, to include all financial allocations for those whose contracts have been terminated. We will not allow the law to be passed without that, and there is a parliamentary majority that strongly supports this approach."
