    Baghdad today - Baghdad
On Friday, the former Kurdish MP, Ghaleb Muhammad, called for linking the salaries of employees in the Kurdistan region directly with the federal government.
Muhammad told (Baghdad Today): "There is no confidence among the Kurdish citizens in the Kurdistan Regional Government. Even if an agreement is reached regarding the financial budget, the delay in paying salaries will remain."
He added, "The ideal solution to the economic problem in the region is to link employee salaries with the federal government exclusively," he said.
On March 13, the Federal Council of Ministers approved the draft federal budget law for the fiscal years 2023, 2024 and 2025, in which the share of the Kurdistan region is more than 12%.
And the Ministry of Finance and Economy in the region announced, on the same day, that it had received the amount of 400 billion dinars to "finance the salaries of employees."
Yesterday, the Federal Supreme Court responded to the request of the state order to stop the disbursement of 400 billion dinars from the Kurdistan Ministry of Finance submitted by Representative Mustafa Sanad.
