The Council of Ministers, in its regular session held yesterday, Tuesday, under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, approved the criteria for nomination of those with higher positions by the minister or the head of the entity not linked to a ministry, to occupy the position of (general manager, special degree, advisor, undersecretary, from They have the rank of a minister).
A statement by the Prime Minister's Media Office stated that Al-Sudani indicated, at the outset of the session, the importance of ministries committing to implementing the procedures related to the decision to approve the unified treasury account, and implementing the instructions related to electronic payment points of sale (POS).
The council stipulated that, in nominating senior positions, the age of the candidate for the position of general manager should not exceed (55) years, and that he should have at least a preliminary university degree, with a specialization consistent with the nature of the position’s duties, and that the general and special conditions required by the special laws for some positions or positions be observed. Formations (such as university service, judicial service, foreign service, etc.).
It was also stipulated that the candidate for the position of general manager should have actual service in state departments of no less than (10) years, and it is preferable for those who graduated to occupy the position of head of a division, head of a department, assistant general manager, taking into account the laws in force or the controls issued by the ministry or entity. Not associated with a ministry, which requires more service, while a candidate for a position with the rank of minister, undersecretary, or advisor and those of their rank is required to have actual service of no less than (15) years in his field of work, and to have worked as a consultant or manager. General for one of the departments of the ministry or the entity not associated with a ministry.
Among the conditions is that the Supreme National Commission for Accountability and Justice supports that the candidate is not included in its procedures, and the Integrity Commission supports that they do not have any open or open cases that prevent him from being appointed to a high position, and that he not have committed a crime against honor, while he is subject to an interview to determine his suitability for the nominated position. for him, or for another position, in light of the results of the interview, evaluation forms, and approved standards.
