    [rtl]Baghdad-Iraq Today:

The independent MP, Amir Al-Mamouri, revealed the settlement and closure of the so-called “theft of the century,” indicating that major political figures involved in the theft are the ones who made this settlement.[/rtl]

[rtl]Al-Mamouri said in a press interview, “Political figures at a well-known level and leaders of the first class were involved in the “theft of the century” and they were able to settle the issue,” noting that “the talk about returning the stolen money does not go beyond media consumption.”[/rtl]
[rtl]He explained, "The presence of the accused, Nour Zuhair, outside Iraq is part of the settlement deal, and his role in this case does not go beyond a 'tool', but his removal comes as a precaution against leaking the names of those involved."[/rtl]
[rtl]He pointed out that "the amounts that have been recovered do not exceed 10 percent of the theft, and the talk of continuing to pursue those involved and the pledge to recover the rest of the amounts does not exceed reassurances and media statements," noting that "The amounts were settled and shared among those involved in the theft."[/rtl]
