    Today, Wednesday, the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani, revealed the reason for his second visit to the Ministry of Oil.
    And his media office stated, in a statement, that “Al-Sudani visited, this morning, the headquarters of the Ministry of Oil, and chaired the meeting of the opinion committee of the ministry, which witnessed a discussion of a number of important oil files, especially in the sectors of extraction, associated and free gas investment, oil exploration and infrastructure, and standing on Problems and obstacles that hinder their projects.
    The statement added, "Al-Sudani listened to a detailed presentation on the plans, activities and projects implemented within the government program, and the role of the national effort in that, by the undersecretaries and general managers."


    He continued: “He also reviewed a number of recently implemented projects in the associated and free gas investment sector and the new invested quantities, including the Crutch gas field, which was recently operated with the national effort, which will generate financial revenues, by offering investment opportunities in the liquidation sector, through It would end Iraq’s import of oil products, and move to the stage of exporting various petroleum products.”
    The Prime Minister affirmed that his “second visit to the Ministry of Oil aims to provide support for this important sector in the sustainability of the economic situation,” indicating “the country’s need for a reform revolution in the oil sector, through which the oil and petrochemical industries can be developed and the optimal investment of oil and gas fields.”
    And he stressed “the need to address the real problems in the export system, directing the national effort to develop studies to address the current problems,” calling for “setting timelines for the long-overdue files that were discussed in this meeting.”
