The Martyrs Foundation called for an increase in the financial amounts allocated to the family of martyrs to more than 300 billion dinars, in order to fulfill the financial entitlements of this group.
The head of the foundation, Abd al-Ilah al-Naeli, told Al-Sabah: His foundation held a meeting with the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives to discuss the amounts allocated to it within the investment and operational budget for the years 2023, 2024 and 2025, indicating that there are many financial obligations, especially the issue of paying the cash allowance for the housing unit, calling By increasing the allocations to more than 300 billion dinars, so that the institution can fulfill its obligations to this segment.
In the same context, Al-Naeli called for the inclusion of sufficient sums of money to cover a segment of the families of the martyrs who are victims of terrorism with dues, in accordance with the law to guarantee their rights, warning at the same time that the Foundation is working in coordination with the Ministries of Agriculture and Finance and the directorates of municipalities in the governorates, for the purpose of allocating the necessary plots of land for distribution among them. Pointing out that the governorates that are unable to allocate plots of land will be referred to the file of the cash allowance, in order not to prejudice anyone covered by the law of the institution.
