On Sunday, the representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Muhammad Al-Baldawi, revealed the approval of the region’s delegation to the conditions of the Parliamentary Finance Committee regarding Kurdistan’s share of the federal budget.
Al-Baldawi said in a press interview seen by “Takadum” that “the delegation of the region that negotiated with the Finance Committee returned to the capital, Baghdad, with the approval of the Kurdistan Democratic Party on the points that were proven by the parliamentary finance.”
He added, "The Democratic delegation returned to Baghdad for the purpose of settlement after presenting its discussions with the Parliamentary Finance Committee regarding Articles 14 and 15 of the Budget Law, with the approval of the Democratic Party leadership on what the two parties reached."
Al-Baldawi pointed out that “the points confirmed by the Parliamentary Finance Committee are in the interest of everyone, including the interest of the Kurds, and many politicians and specialists in the region have confirmed that the amendments made by the Parliamentary Finance do not harm the interest of the region or the Kurdish citizen.”
He pointed out that "after the approval of the region, during the remaining few days of this week, the budget will be presented to the vote."
And some changes in the budget items related to Kurdistan shares ignited the fuse of the fire, between the political blocs, especially the Finance Committee and the region, which caused delays in approving the budget and holding frequent meetings of the State Administration Coalition; To try to reach a solution that ends these differences.
