BAGHDAD / The General Authority of the Alliance for Reconstruction and Reconstruction agreed on Sunday to cut spending in the fiscal budget for 2019.
"The General Organization of the Coalition for Reform and Reconstruction held yesterday its third meeting in the presence of members and leaders of the coalition, and discussed the files on the agenda of the meeting."
He added that "the attendees voted unanimously on the rules of procedure of the alliance as a new step towards the path of institutionalization, and unanimously voted to elect Ammar al-Hakim as head of the coalition, and the selection of Sabah al-Saadi as head of the parliamentary bloc."
The meeting also discussed "the general budget for 2019, where they agreed on the need to reduce spending and take into account the observations recorded, while referred the subject of the budget to a committee composed of coalition deputies of the Finance and Economic Committee and the Committee on Energy and the Committee to follow up the implementation of the government program."
They stressed during the meeting on "the adoption of the same mechanism that was adopted in the formation of the government in the formation of parliamentary committees to be the presidency of the most efficient committees, and the rejection of any distribution of constituent or national or sectarian committees."
