    [rtl]The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, Muhammad Ali Tamim, approved the detailed maps of the administrative borders, districts, districts and sub-districts of the "Halabja" governorate in their final form within the framework of the measures taken to complete the procedures for creating the wallet. [/rtl]



    [rtl]The media office of the Ministry of Planning stated in a statement that this approval comes in light of the completion of the necessary technical procedures and fundamental approvals for the creation of the governorate, based on Parliament Resolution No. 31 of 2021, and Cabinet Resolution No. 23131 taken in the 11th session held on 3/13/202313. Referring to "the accreditation of the governorate of "Halabja" and its urban center is the city of "Halabja", and it was given the number (16) within the directory of administrative units of the Republic of Iraq.  

    He added, "The newly created governorate includes one district and (4) districts, which are Sirwan, Khormal, Bayara, and Bamo," noting that "the Department of Regional and Local Development in the Ministry of Planning, and based on the directives of Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ali Tamim, she was responsible for reviewing and checking maps and graphs, determining the ownership of the provinces, administrative borders, and basic designs before and after expansion, and resolving all overlaps in the administrative borders resulting from the expansion of designs for cities outside the administrative units.  

    The statement stressed that "the planning team in the ministry worked for several months to study the development file and evaluate technical feasibility studies according to their spatial, urban and rural dimensions, in line with the planning standards for the development of governorates, and to prepare Preliminary and detailed plans and maps for the administrative borders of the "Halabja" district and its sub-districts.Defining districts, urban centers, basic designs for cities and municipal borders, and continuous coordination with the concerned authorities in Sulaymaniyah Governorate on the subject.[/rtl]
