Parliamentary Endowments: We support the government measures taken towards Sweden

Al-Sabah,
the Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Endowments Committee, Muhammad Al-Saihoud, expressed his support, yesterday, Sunday, for the measures taken by the government towards the State of Sweden and its embassy in Baghdad in response to the insult to the Holy Quran.
Al-Sayhoud said, in a press statement: “The burning of the Holy Qur’an is a major event, not a small one that targets more than a billion and a half billion Muslims,” noting that “the abuse included beliefs and a heavenly and upright religion, and that this great event must be met with a great reaction.”
He explained, "What happened must be met with clear governmental measures, as happened with the governmental measures taken against Sweden," pointing out that "the action towards the Swedish embassy was a spontaneous response to the offensive behavior of Islam and Muslims."
Meanwhile, the Shiite Endowment Office denounced, yesterday, Sunday, the recurrence of the assault on the Noble Qur’an for the second time in Sweden, noting that all Arab and Islamic governments must stand decisively to cut off the hand of those who encroach on Islam. Targeting Muslims and belittling their history and the message of the Messenger of humanity, the Noble Prophet Muhammad (may God bless him and his family and grant him peace). Rather, it may be sedition, a reason and a prelude to a relentless war waged by the enemies of Islam. The first step was intellectual and ideological by burning the Holy Qur’an under the pretext of freedom of expression
.
He added, "The response must be strong and decisive, without complacency, humiliation or humiliation, because this religion is a trust in all of us, and the Holy Qur'an will not desecrate its holiness with their despicable act due to its place in the hearts of more than two billion Muslims.. However, what follows may be a greater danger, as if it is a war to prove the existence of Islam or not."
