Under the scorching heat of the sun and at the height of Iraq's hot summer, employees of 3 ministries took the initiative to exert their utmost energies in order to serve the citizens. While the Ministry of Electricity mobilized its staff to pursue and repair faults in generating stations and maintain transmission towers, the men of the Ministries of Defense and Interior stood with their vehicles and armored vehicles in the middle of the desert and the dunes of distant valleys. The east and west of the country to protect the power towers and electrical stations from the futility of the remnants of criminal saboteurs and their explosive devices.
With regard to government measures related to the protection of electricity towers that have been affected by vandalism during the past days, the spokesman for the Ministry of Electricity, Ahmed Musa Al-Abadi, stated in an interview with "Al-Sabah" that "the ministry, from an early age and based on the Prime Minister's directives, provided the Ministries of Defense and Interior with the paths of the lines." He stressed that "the ministry is mobilizing All efforts are being made to rebuild what was destroyed by the subversive gangs and to restore the lines to work.
