    [rtl]Baghdad-Iraq Today:

    Representative Firas Al-Maslamawi affirmed that the issue of gender in Iraq is alien to Iraqi society, contrary to the constitution, and comes from outside Iraq.  [/rtl]
    [rtl]Al-Muslimawi said: “The issue of gender in Iraq is an issue alien to the Iraqi Muslim and conservative society that is characterized by customs and traditions, and it is a topic that contradicts the constitution, which stipulates that no law that contradicts Islamic teachings shall be legislated.”[/rtl]
    [rtl] Al-Maslamawi continued: "Currently, signatures are being collected in the House of Representatives in order to legislate a law banning homosexuality and gender inside Iraq, which cannot be a country that allows these poisonous ideas, stressing that the danger of gender lies in not defining its definition and not defining its identity."[/rtl]
    [rtl]. And Al-Maslamawi added: “The committee formed to define the definition of gender concluded with a recommendation not to define it, and therefore its danger lies in its inclusion of things and things, which today may be included for a type of type, and It is possible that after a certain period other types will enter, and therefore today as a government we are witnessing several ministries, such as Higher education, health and some governors have issued official books not to use this term in official books.[/rtl]
    [rtl] Al-Maslamawi concluded: "This issue is a foreign political file coming from outside Iraq."[/rtl]
