    President Abdel Latif Jamal Rashid affirmed today, Saturday, the need to secure all rights for women, at the forefront of which is keenness to prevent violence against women in all its forms and means, while pointing out that the forces of law and authority are the means of deterring cases of violence.

    Rashid said in his speech during the Islamic Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women: "We believe that success in this noble mission is a success for the man and for the woman, and a success for the cohesion of the family, as it is thus a success for society in general to preserve human, religious and civilized values, based on equality and the preservation of rights." and the promotion of human dignity.



    He added, "We believe that working for legislation that preserves rights and prevents violence against women is an important prelude that matures by activating the law and its rule so that the state, through its various institutions, is responsible for protecting human dignity and ending violence as a savage and uncivilized means."

    Rashid pointed out, "The force of law and the power of the judicial and governmental authority empowered to enforce the law is the primary means of deterring cases of violence. Then comes the important role of community education, which helps in introducing society to religious, civilized and legal rights that provide the right for everyone to live in safety, dignity and justice."

    He continued, "In fact, no one is superior to a woman, a mother, sister, wife and daughter, if we preserve her rights and work to respect her dignity, and I hope that we will all work through various means in order to restore the honorable roles of women."

    He stressed, "The necessity of securing all rights for women, and foremost among them is the keenness to prevent violence against women in all its forms and means."
