In an interview with Al-Maalouma, Muhammad said, "The Barzani party's attempt to restore its hegemony over Kirkuk by restoring the advanced headquarters of operations stirred up the Arabs and Turkmens and prompted peaceful demonstrations and sit-ins for 3 consecutive days, confirming a national position that the city will not be run by any party or party." component and remain within the concept of federal administration.
He added, "The silence of the al-Halbousi party and the rest of the other Sunni forces angered the liberated areas in Diyala, amid very timid reactions due to the influence of interests and political understandings that were behind the tragedy of Kirkuk and other cities for many years."
He pointed out that "the return of Kirkuk to the management of the Kurdish parties before 2017 is difficult, and the Arab and Turkmen parties will not accept it, and participation in the decision is what pushes the city to stability away from any conflicts."
The decision to hand over the advanced operations headquarters in Kirkuk to Barzani's party angered the Arab and Turkmen circles, which went out in peaceful demonstrations and sit-ins.
