the Parliamentary Education Committee supported granting a third round to sixth-grade preparatory students to address the problem of some failures of the biological and applied branches that may occur as a result of canceling the education diversification system for the academic year 2023-2024.
Committee member Zaytoun Al-Dulaimi told Al-Sabah: The committee, in coordination with the Ministry of Education, called for granting a third role to sixth-grade preparatory students to address the problem of canceling the diversification of education that may happen to students in the biology branch repeating for the academic year 2022-2023, after converting the system to scientific and literary, as During the past year, they studied according to the diversification system, which will cause disruption and confusion for them if they are returned to the school year according to an educational system that they had not studied before. She stated that the demands to address this issue aim to find a solution for them, indicating that the last academic year witnessed achieving very good grades that exceeded 100. percent for most students in the biological and applied scientific stream, despite some comments on the ministerial questions.
She continued that the Minister of Education, Ibrahim Namis Al-Jubouri, referred the issue of granting the third round of the sixth stage of preparatory school to the opinion committee to study it in all its aspects in order to come up with a decision that is in the interest of the students.
