Member of Parliamentary Oil: Implementation of the giant {Nebras} project will begin soon

{Local: Al-Furat News} A member of the Parliamentary Oil and Gas Committee, Adnan Al-Jabri, revealed the imminent start of implementation of the giant {Nebras} project in Basra.

Al-Jabri said {to Al-Furat News} that: “The Nebras petrochemical project in Basra Governorate is considered one of the largest projects, and there is continuous follow-up by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani and the ministers.”
He stressed, "Iraq's need for a promising transformation in the field of petrochemicals to be a manufacturing country for these materials, especially with the presence of the raw material represented by oil. Therefore, this raw material exists and there will be a shift in this field."
Al-Jabri continued, "The start of the project will be soon because it is part of the government program, and there will be follow-ups by the House of Representatives with the government to speed up the completion of this project."
