    Universities of Basra, Al-Zahra, Babylon, Al-Mustaqbal, Wasit and Qasim Al-Khadra in Iraq signed cooperation agreements with the Iranian National Institute for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Research to enhance scientific and research relations between them.

    According to the Iranian National Research Institute for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, in this regard, 6 memorandums of understanding were signed with the aforementioned universities by the heads of both sides.

    The terms of these memorandums include initiating joint research projects that can be applied by graduate students, exchanging efforts to start accredited joint accreditation courses in the field of biotechnology, holding professional workshops in Iraqi research institutes and universities to update the knowledge and expertise of faculty members, and following up on legal procedures to open a branch of the institute. My research in Iraqi universities and paving the way for the opening of the Genetic Engineering and [url=https://www.alsumaria.tv/Entity/2978996197/%D9%85%D8%B1%D9%83%D8%B2 %D8%A7%D8%A8%D8%AD%D8%A7%D8%AB %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AA%D9%83%D9%86%D9%88%D9%84%D9%88%D8%AC%D9%8A%D8%A7 %D8%A7%D9%84%D8%AD%D9%8A%D9%88%D9%8A%D8%A9/ar/]Biotechnology Research Center[/url] in Iraqi universities.

    The two parties also reached an understanding in the field of advertising, encouraging and exchanging capabilities in holding conferences related to biotechnology and emerging companies and innovation exhibitions in research institutes and Iraqi universities, and cooperation to launch an international journal of biotechnology in Iraqi universities, in addition to the exchange of professors and students, and cooperation to enhance the marketing of emerging biotechnology companies. The two sides will establish permanent schedules for joint scientific cooperation between Iraqi research institutes and universities in each institution, as well as holding regular annual meetings to review and enhance the progress of joint programs.
