Today, Thursday, the Iraqi judiciary issued a ruling to the Communications and Media Commission approving the Internet services licensing regulations.
A government source said, “The judiciary rejected the Ministry of Communications’ lawsuit and ruled that the Communications and Media Authority has the right to license Internet ISP companies.”
He added, "The judiciary ruled for the Authority to approve the ISP Internet Services Licensing Regulations issued by the Authority's Board of Commissioners."
