On Wednesday, spokesman for the government media team, Haider Majeed, revealed a government plan to create complexes that add a million housing units similar to Bismaya in the governorates, while stressing that the government has paid attention to providing services to the educational and health sectors.
Majeed said, in a statement reported by the official news agency, and seen by Al-Iqtisad News, that “the government’s plan after approving the tripartite budget will reflect positively on the provision of services to citizens, and the government has attached great importance to providing services to all educational and health sectors.”
He added, "At this level, the Ministry of Construction and Housing continues to work on projects to relieve traffic congestion, and it is hoped that the first package projects will be opened by the middle of next year, in addition to the existence of future projects."
He continued, "There are other projects, such as the model school buildings project under the agreement with China, and the Ministry of Education Project No. (1), which was restarted after years of delay, in addition to the One Thousand Schools Project within the Iraq Fund for Development and the National Investment Commission," pointing out "the existence of a partnership with the Ministry of Education." Education and regional development projects also aim to implement many projects.”
He stressed that "the National Investment Authority, in turn, has special projects for residential complexes," stressing that "the Authority's vision aims to create residential cities similar to the city of Bismayah in a number of governorates, with a capacity of one million units, which in turn will contribute to reducing the burden on citizens and middle-income people by finding suitable housing." ".
