    Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Electricity announced its plan for general voting day, while indicating that it will secure energy for all electoral centers.
    Ministry spokesman Ahmed Moussa said: “The Ministry established, sometime before the elections, a permanent operations room, where it directed public administrations, agents, control centers, and electricity formations, whether they were transmission network stations and distribution networks, to ensure that there be full alert to keep up with the coverage of the electoral centers.” “With electricity, while ensuring energy for all citizens to make the electoral process a success,” he said, noting that “there is a permanent operations room, stations for general managers, and groups organized in the form of teams covering the election service, providing integrated equipment and dealing with any emergency if it occurs in the electrical networks.”
    He added, “The warehouses are open 24 hours a day, and there is a field presence of engineering, technical, and high-voltage personnel participating in the success of the elections, accompanied by the military sectors.” He pointed out that “there is coordination with all concerned parties, whether with the Ministries of Interior and Defense, or with the Election Commission, to make the election successful.” .
    He stressed that “there is a complete exception for all electoral centers,” pointing out that “the preparation is currently almost complete for all governorates of Iraq.”
    He continued, “We do not have any outages in the electrical network, as the equipment is integrated for all governorates of Iraq, with the exception of Nineveh Governorate, in which we are working to address part of the bottlenecks in it,” pointing out that “there is complete insurance for all electoral centers.”
