The Ministry of Environment launches the “We All Farm” campaign

Yesterday, Sunday, the Ministry of Environment launched a major national campaign under the slogan (We All Plant), indicating that this campaign is part of the decisions of the Iraq Climate Conference.
The ministry explained, in a statement, that "the campaign was launched in cooperation with the Department of Forestry and Desertification in the Ministry of Agriculture and the municipal departments in Baghdad and the governorates," indicating that "the campaign came in implementation of the directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani to plant 5 million trees."
She added, "The campaign is part of the decisions of the Iraq Climate Conference held in Basra, in which it was recommended that the Ministry of Environment undertake an intensive awareness effort and increase green spaces in public and private sector institutions for a green Iraq free of desertification," noting that it "initiated through the Awareness and Information Department." The Environmental Council calls for implementing these campaigns in schools and public and private institutions to provide modern irrigation systems as part of sustainability, water rationalization and irrigation using modern methods.
She stated, "This campaign will spread throughout Baghdad and the governorates, with high coordination between the Ministries of Environment and Agriculture/Department of Forestry and Desertification, and between the Municipality of Baghdad and the municipal departments."
