The Baghdad Municipality completed all transactions related to converting the type of agricultural land to residential after the issuance of Resolution 320.
The secretariat’s assistant media director, Saad Bukhati, told “Al-Sabah”: The government, as part of its effort to solve part of the problem of the housing crisis in agricultural areas, slums and encroachments, issued Resolution No. 320 of 2023 to activate Resolutions 580 of 1980 and Resolution 581 to convert the type of state-owned agricultural lands to Residential and owned by
Its occupants.
He added that the municipalities of the secretariat have completed all the transactions submitted by citizens who own residential units on agricultural lands with the aim of converting them to
Residential.
Bukhati stated that the current government looked to one of the most important concerns of citizens, which is housing on those lands, pointing out that the implementation of this decision requires the combined efforts of all ministries, including the Ministry of Agriculture.
