[size=45]The head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Party, Bafel Jalal Talabani, said on Tuesday that his party will correct “the wrong path of politics and governance and will preserve the constitutional entity of the Kurds at the center of political decision-making in Baghdad,” while stressing that “there are many criticisms, and the goals for which the blood of the martyrs of the March 1991 uprising were shed have not been achieved.” As hoped, services are not at the required level and the situation is not what the people had hoped for.”[/size]
[size=45]This came during a message sent by the party leader on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the 1991 uprising, which started in the city of Rania.[/size]

[size=45]Honorable fans of Rania and the Raparin region[/size]
[size=45]Today, we remember with pride the historic uprising of the Kurdish people and your chivalry and heroism. We remember the heroic Peshmerga and all the fighters, who illuminated the darkness of the nights and brought good news of a bright future for Kurdistan.[/size]
[size=45]The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan is aware of the greatness of the bright and glorious history that you have recorded, and how many brave sons you have given to this land. We remember how much you have suffered and how you have tasted the horror of living, so the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan always considers itself indebted to you and to the families of our glorious martyrs.[/size]
[size=45]We realize that there are many criticisms, and the goals for which the pure blood of our martyrs were shed have not been achieved as they are. Services are not at the required level and the situation is not what you were and we also hoped for, but as we promised you before, we will correct this wrong path of politics and governance, and preserve the constitutional entity of the Kurds. At the political decision center in Baghdad, we reiterate that the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan has not and will not be a force that turns its back on its people.[/size]
[size=45]Over the past period, with the help of God Almighty, and then with the support of the dear citizens of Kurdistan, we have taken effective steps for the life and livelihood of our people, and their results are clearly visible. There is no doubt that what we have done and will do falls within the framework of protecting higher and national interests. Most of our goals are to advance The people and the protection of the land of Kurdistan.[/size]
