The government media team announced today, Thursday, that the projects of the Dhi Qar Reconstruction Fund amount to 250 projects, noting that they included 7 sectors.
The spokesman for the government media team, Haider Majeed, said: “The projects of the Dhi Qar Governorate Reconstruction Fund are considered the most important in the history of the governorate over the years, as they are being implemented for the first time with this number of projects in one Iraqi governorate, and they amount to more than 250 projects, covering all sectors.”
Majeed added, "The government is primarily interested in infrastructure and the rehabilitation of main roads in addition to important projects," stressing that "rural roads are witnessing for the first time the covering and rehabilitation, in addition to interest in the electricity sector, and the rehabilitation of treatment plants, in addition to desalination and water purification plants."
Majeed continued, “The projects also included roads, bridges, cornices, and sports stadiums in most districts and districts, and this is considered an exceptional interest by the government for this governorate,” explaining that “The Dhi Qar Reconstruction Fund is under the supervision of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, and is directly monitored by the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers.” .
He stressed that "the management and staff of the Reconstruction Fund are working around the clock to complete these projects."
