    Baghdad today - Sulaymaniyah  
    Today, Tuesday (April 23, 2024), Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Qubad Talabani, revealed his request to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to reconsider the decision to close Turkish airspace in front of Sulaymaniyah International Airport. 
    Talabani confirmed in a post on Facebook, followed by Baghdad Today, "his participation in the meeting of the presidency and government of the Kurdistan region with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his accompanying delegation." 
    He pointed out that "during the meeting, he asked President Erdogan to reconsider the decision to close Turkish airspace in front of Sulaymaniyah International Airport." 
    Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived yesterday evening, Monday (April 22, 2024), at Erbil International Airport, coming from the capital, Baghdad .
    Erdogan was received by the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, and the Prime Minister, Masrour Barzani .
