Today, Thursday (May 23, 2024), the exchange rate of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar recorded a slight increase on the main stock exchange in the capital, Baghdad.
The "Baghdad Today" correspondent said, "The dollar prices on the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges recorded 145,850 dinars for every 100 dollars."
He added, "Selling prices in exchange shops in local markets in Baghdad stabilized on the rise, as the selling price reached 146,750 dinars, while the purchasing price reached 144,750 dinars for every 100 dollars."
Dollar prices are still flying in the parallel market with a large difference from the official exchange rate, as prices reached about 147 thousand dinars per 100 dollars, a difference of 15 points from the official price of 132 thousand dinars per 100 dollars.
