{Politics: Al-Furat News} The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Mr. Ammar Al-Hakim, received today, Saturday, the acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, and they discussed developments in the political scene in Iraq and the region and the role of Parliament in the next stage.

Mr. Ammar Al-Hakim stressed, according to a statement from his office, a copy of which {Al-Furat News} received, “the necessity of approving important laws and resolving the issue of choosing a new speaker for the House of Representatives.”
He also stressed "the importance of unifying and redoubling efforts in order to preserve the stability achieved and transform it into permanent stability," appreciating "the role of the Presidency of the House of Representatives and the representatives in approving the budget schedules."
Mr. Ammar Al-Hakim reiterated his vision of this acknowledgment that it “comes with confidence and harmony with the government’s directions in construction, reconstruction and development.”
