Mahmoud Al-Hayani, a member of the Al-Fatah Coalition, said today, Saturday, that the regional government will not allow the entry of Iraqi security forces to protect its lands from the ongoing Turkish aggression.
Al-Hayani said in a statement that “the continuous Turkish bombing of the region came as a result of the region’s military weakness,” noting that “the regional government does not allow the Iraqi security forces to control the security file in northern Iraq.”
He continued, "The region fears the entry of Iraqi forces because the Iraqi army will not return the lands it will control," pointing out that "the disputed areas worry the region more than the Turkish bombing."
Turkey is again bombing the villages of the region under the pretext of the presence of the Kurdistan Workers' Party, amid a clear violation of Iraq's sovereignty, and a lack of response by the Iraqi Peshmerga forces. Ended 25/c
