Yesterday, Monday, the Iraqi Ports Company opened the first section of the road linking Al-Faw Port and the submerged tunnel.
“We have shortened more than two months of the promise made to the Prime Minister regarding the completion of the paving of the road leading to the Faw Port, which was supposed to be completed in November of this year, but today it ended with the first paving layer of 40 km out of a total length of 51 km, and before the end of 2024 the road will be completed with two layers of paving,” said the company’s general manager, Farhan Al-Fartousi. He added that “the road linking the Faw Port and the international road has reached a completion rate of
