Whether it is a holiday or an official work day, scorching sun or bitter cold, the Prime Minister, who raised the slogan of the Year of Achievements for 2024, does not let that stop him from following up on projects, plans, and matters of managing the situation in the country.
After a successful Arab tour of Egypt and Tunisia, yesterday, Saturday, he conducted a field visit to the implementation site of the Abu Nawas Street expansion projects and the construction of the new Al-Jadriya Bridge, which extends for a length of (7722 meters), starting from the Karrada Martyrs Park to the approaches to Al-Nusour Square, passing through the Wedding Island next to Al-Karkh. This comes at a time when the Roads and Bridges Department at the Ministry of Construction announced the completion of 103 projects in record time with high-quality specifications and integrated engineering construction.
While reviewing the modern technologies used in the construction of bridges, tributaries and concrete pillars, which enable rapid implementation with minimal demolition of previous facilities at the work site, he directed the provision of service outlets for the residential areas through which the bridges pass, and to focus on facilitating traffic movement in various directions.
