Al-Sudani announces from Wasit the launch of the real estate developer project for the first time

[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani announced the launch of the real estate developer project for the first time by preparing serviced residential lands at symbolic prices.
Al-Sudani confirmed in a speech during the launch of the executive works in the Wasit City and Kut Gate residential projects, the launch of work for the first time in the real estate developer project, according to a new vision for the government that includes preparing serviced residential plots at symbolic prices for all citizens, and they can be obtained by low- and middle-income groups, in addition to allocating a percentage of the total units or plots of land to the local government to distribute them among the poor groups in the governorate.
The Prime Minister explained, according to a statement by his media office, that the housing project is in line with the government's vision to solve the housing crisis, based on establishing integrated cities that include all economic, service and commercial activities, through partnership with the private sector, stressing the completion of granting licenses for about one million housing units during the life of this government, which has set several paths to provide housing, whether by completing residential complexes that have been delayed for years or establishing new residential complexes, at the level of districts and city centers.
Al-Sudani explained that the trend towards establishing residential cities will establish the foundation for the emergence of a national industry that secures the local market's needs of construction materials through supporting the private sector, and will also provide job opportunities for our graduates. He directed all governorates to expedite the preparation of all requirements to invest in this new method in preparing residential plots of land, and stressed that any project implemented by the government or the private sector must be in accordance with high-precision specifications; in order for them to be sustainable projects.
The Wasit Residential City project is being built in the Al-Safha area on an area of 5 thousand dunums, with (35) thousand serviced plots of land, and the implementing agency for the project is the Wasit Investment Authority and the Kut Municipality Directorate. It includes integrated services from infrastructure, schools, water complexes and health centers, in accordance with the civilized design and urban planning. The plot of land with an area of 200 square meters will be sold to the segments that have priority in the sale and who have not previously received a plot of land from the state.
As for the (Kut Gate Residential City) project, it will be built in the Yusufiyah area, on an area of 2,000 dunums, part of which will be a residential complex, and the other part will be serviced residential plots, a percentage of which will be handed over to the governorate to be distributed among the deserving groups. /End 2[/rtl]
