Education Committee: Amendment of the Private Education Law

The Parliamentary Education Committee is moving towards amending the Private Education Law. Committee member Zaytoun Al-Dulaimi told Al-Sabah that "there are many important laws whose enactment is considered a positive step towards education and its advancement, so the committee is following up on societal changes and seeking to amend the laws accordingly." She added that "the committee decided to amend the Private Education Law again, because the law was amended in 2016 and a long time has passed, and there are new developments in educational matters and changes, and it is necessary to amend it to be consistent with the size of societal changes and control the pace of work, the most important of which are the amounts of school fees and discussing them according to the general situation of society."
