    [rtl]The Independent Research Group (IIACSS) announced today, Thursday, the organization of the Qatari trade mission to Basra in cooperation with the Qatar Development Bank, while indicating that this event comes to enhance economic and trade relations between the two countries.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The group said in a statement seen by Al-Eqtisad News that it is "pleased to announce the organization of the Qatari trade mission to Basra in cooperation with the Qatar Development Bank, which will be held in Basra Governorate on October 28 and 29, 2024."[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]She added, "This event comes within the framework of the ongoing cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Iraq to enhance economic and trade relations between the two countries, in line with the efforts made to develop bilateral cooperation in various fields, and open new horizons for industrial and trade partnerships."[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The Qatari trade mission to Basra aims to “bring together major Qatari manufacturers and investors with their Iraqi counterparts, in order to enhance future cooperation opportunities and build long-term trade partnerships. The mission will include representatives from a group of leading Qatari companies, distinguished by their advanced expertise in a wide range of industries such as plastics, pipes, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, cement, concrete, cables, polypropylene, energy, oils, and chemicals.”[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]This diversity in industrial specializations aims to achieve the widest range of mutual benefits between the Qatari and Iraqi sides.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]Through the planned matchmaking meetings, “Qatari companies will have the opportunity to learn about the needs of the Iraqi market and promising investment opportunities in Iraq, as well as the possibility of exploring ways of cooperation with Iraqi companies representing various economic and industrial sectors in Iraq. The event will also work to enhance dialogue between representatives of the private sector in Qatar and Iraq, which contributes to creating a fertile environment for the exchange of ideas and experiences in a way that supports economic and industrial development in both countries.”[/rtl]
