Education: Committees to follow up on tutoring institutes

The Ministry of Education noted that the work of tutoring institutes and private schools is carried out under the supervision of specialized committees, in order to monitor violations and adhere to controls and instructions.
The official spokesman for the ministry, Karim Al-Sayed, told Al-Sabah: The work of these institutes and schools is subject to periodic monitoring and direct supervision by the Educational and Specialized Supervision Authority, to follow up on education in these institutions with regard to the quality of teaching, educational staff, and other procedures related to them. This comes in implementation of the controls prepared by the Ministry of Education last year and the year before, with emphasis on their implementation for the current academic year 2024-2025.
He added that the ministry had previously closed a number of institutes and private schools that violated ministerial instructions, in order to enhance the educational process and its proper functioning in private or civil institutions, and this is being done in coordination with the education directorates in Baghdad and the governorates during the current academic year 2024-2025.
