Member of Parliament Yasser Al-Husseini stated that all political parties agreed to resolve the crisis of the Speaker of Parliament during the next session.
Al-Husseini said that agreements were reached between all political forces to resolve the crisis of the Speaker of Parliament without resorting to introducing new candidates, evacuating the internal regulations of the Council, and limiting the competition between the candidate of the Progress Alliance, Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani, and Salem Al-Issawi, the candidate of the Sunni Alliance, with the exception of Progress.
He added that the country's need requires, at this stage in which the corruption pandemic has spread, the interrogation of the corrupt has stopped, and voting on various legislative decisions that affect the citizen has been disrupted, to resolve the crisis of the Speaker of Parliament and appoint a new Speaker of the Council.
He continued, that the next session will be decisive for electing a new Speaker of Parliament.
