    Here is a great list of items you may want to have on hand as a precaution against whatever may happen. Its also good just to have these in case of natural disasters:
    MODIFY TO YOUR PERSONAL NEEDS

    1. Generators (Good ones cost dearly. Gas storage, risky. Noisy, target of thieves, maintenance etc.) but still good to have
    2. Water Filters/Purifiers
    3. Portable Toilets baby wipes
    4. Seasoned Firewood. Wood takes about 6 - 12 months to become dried, for home uses.
    5. Lamp Oil, Wicks, Lamps (First Choice: Buy CLEAR oil. If scarce, stockpile ANY!)
    6. Coleman Fuel. Impossible to stockpile too much.
    7. Guns, Ammunition,cleaning supplies parts oil etc.. Pepper Spray, Knives, Clubs, Bats & Slingshots, multitools meat-hook etc..
    8. Hand-can openers, & hand egg beaters, grinders whisks.
    9. Honey/Syrups/white, brown sugar, (hard)candies,chocolate, salt
    10. Rice - Beans (sprouts)- Wheat-lentils-ALL pastas falafel mixes -nuts(all)-dried potato Flour,grits,etc..
    11. Vegetable Oil shortening ,Lard, bacon grease (for cooking) Without it food burns/must be boiled etc.,)
    12. Charcoal, Lighter Fluid (Will become scarce suddenly) Coal
    13. Water Containers (Urgent Item to obtain.) Any size. Small: HARD CLEAR PLASTIC ONLY - note - food grade if for drinking.
    16. Propane Cylinders (Urgent: Definite shortages will occur.)Lg.burner w/lg. metal pots&lids ,hot gloves
    17. Survival Guide Book.(s)
    18. Mantles: Aladdin, Coleman, etc. (Without this item, longer-term lighting is
    difficult.)
    19. Baby Supplies: Diapers/formula. ointments/aspirin, etc.
    20. Washboards, Mop Bucket w/wringer (for Laundry)
    21. Cook-stoves (Propane, Coleman & Kerosene)
    22. Vitamins, especially Vitamin C (stops Scurvy and most minor colds)
    23. Propane Cylinder Handle-Holder (Urgent: Small canister use is dangerous
    without this item)
    24. Feminine Hygiene/Haircare/Skin products.Lg.assortment towels rags etc..
    25. Thermal underwear (Tops & Bottoms)multiples
    26. Bow saws, axes and hatchets, Wedges splitting Mauls (also, honing oil)Shovels & rakes
    27. Aluminum Foil Reg. & Heavy Duty (Great Cooking and Barter Item)
    28. Gasoline Containers (Plastic & Metal)
    29. Garbage Bags (Impossible To Have Too Many).
    30. Toilet Paper, Kleenex, Paper Towels
    31. Games,cards,sturdy toys etc.
    32. High quality camping/ outdooring essentials
    33. Cast iron cookware and decent cutlery w/ cutting boards
    34. basic fishing tackle
    35. Wood stoves cook/heat
    36. Tobacco / smokables? (barter)
    37. Ropes/cordage- innumerable uses
    38. magnifying glass(fire starting)or close inspection
    39. crowbars pry-bars(sm. to lg.)

    52. Power converters DC to AC. several if possible
    53. Solar panels(if possible)to recharge DC power sources or car battery
    54. Deep cycle batteries
    55. Bicycle
    56. Fire protection, extinguishers etc.
    57. Rechargeable Batteries and Charging units
