         The Ministry of Construction and Housing updated second edition of the Resident Engineer and the revised guide to construction projects for the year 2015.
    This achievement is designed to enrich the information specialists of engineers, technicians and university students from all engineering disciplines all that is new and useful within the scope of their work and to meet the actual need for which it lacks the engineering library in Iraq and to the solid engineering sources approved by the competent authorities.
      The Ministry of Construction and Housing has taken the initiative through the buildings department in collaboration with the departments of the Ministry to issue a second edition of the resident engineer for construction projects guide after I took it upon themselves to reconsider many of the contents of the first edition to meet the technical, administrative and regulatory requirements needed by the resident engineer during the performance of his duties in the workplace     .

    Sounds more and more like Iraq is "on the right paved road" for a change. Can't wait to see the high speed train China is building for them - I do believe it will run from Basra at the port to Baghdad.  Also, the Chinese have their troops in Iraq to guard and protect their workers.  Just like in Paris, the Chinese troops are there to make sure the Chinese tourist are not mugged, etc.  China is not a foolish country, it makes sure its people are safe - especially, the workers in areas that are troubled and its wealthy are protected.
