    The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, confirmed the import of 12,000 modern irrigation systems, noting that the water management agreement with Turkey will achieve a qualitative leap in the agricultural sector.
    The Prime Minister's Media Office said, "Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani received today, Saturday, the president and members of the General Union of Agricultural Cooperative Societies, and listened to a number of proposals and proposals related to farmers and farmers, and ways to advance the agricultural sector."
    Al-Sudani pointed out the importance of the Union’s work and its effectiveness in being an intermediary between the government and farmers, stressing that supporting and advancing the agricultural sector is one of the government’s priorities and goals, by not continuing to rely on the oil sector, and employing oil imports to develop other sectors, including agriculture.
    The Prime Minister confirmed that the government will continue to pay farmers’ dues, and will also give farmers and farmers, who adopt modern irrigation systems, a higher price to buy their crops than those who use traditional methods. 12,000 irrigation systems have been imported for the first time in Iraq, stressing that the management agreement Water with Turkey will achieve a qualitative leap in the agricultural sector in Iraq.
