{Economic: Al-Furat News} The National Bank of Iraq, in cooperation with the business accelerator Business Hub Company, launched the “Our Youth Initiative” to support entrepreneurs who own small and medium enterprises in Iraq with a value of (10) billion dinars, pointing out that this initiative is sponsored by Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa. Sudanese Company aims to support more than 400 projects with “zero interest and flexible repayment periods.”
The bank said in a statement received by {Al-Furat News}, “This initiative by the Prime Minister comes in support of Iraqi youth and to strengthen the economy by providing financing and training for these projects, encouraging entrepreneurs, and strengthening their capabilities with training and guidance to manage their businesses effectively, and this was confirmed by the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani.” However, such initiatives promote economic development, in addition to providing job opportunities for our youth, including entrepreneurs who own small, medium and emerging enterprises, to enable them to overcome financial obstacles and achieve sustainable growth.”
He explained, "The training steps include projects that meet the financing conditions; receiving applications, establishing training camps, holding online training courses, and providing loans ranging between 10-30 million Iraqi dinars for emerging projects, 30-75 million Iraqi dinars for emerging and small projects, and 75- 200 million Iraqi dinars for medium projects.
The authorized director of the National Bank of Iraq, Ayman Abu Dhaim, said, “The Prime Minister’s sponsorship of this initiative reflects the Iraqi government’s serious endeavor to achieve sustainable and comprehensive development and push the economy to grow and prosper by supporting and empowering small and medium-sized companies.”
Abu Dhaim expressed his belief that “this initiative will play an important role in revitalizing the Iraqi economy, creating new job opportunities, and enhancing stability,” pointing out that “our youth initiative loans are specifically designed to meet the needs of Iraqi entrepreneurs with zero interest, flexible repayment periods, and indicative support to help the owners of these projects.” Projects to succeed.
