The Petroleum Products Distribution Company announced today, Sunday, an increase in monthly sales and use of liquid gas for cars, while confirming that this gas is a high-purity and environmentally friendly fuel.
The company's media officer, Rafid Sadiq, said, "Liquid gas for cars is a high-purity, environmentally friendly fuel. Its price is 200 dinars," pointing out that "liquid gas is produced locally in Iraqi fields by the Ministry of Oil."
Sadiq added, "There are 106 gas outlets throughout Iraq, and more than 13 new outlets will enter service in the coming days after their completion rate reached more than 95 percent."
He stressed that "the company is continuing with the issue of liquid gas, education and advertising campaigns for it, and there is a strong demand for the acquisition of gas systems," noting that "a monthly increase in sales and use of liquid gas has been recorded."
He pointed out that "liquid gas sales amounted to millions during one month, as during the month of April alone more than 25 million liters of liquid gas for cars were sold."
He stated that "those with limited income, including private business owners, such as taxi drivers, public transport vehicles, or external road vehicles, have begun to depend on liquid gas, especially since the outlets are located on external roads, which facilitates the process of refueling liquid gas fuel for transportation vehicles on external roads." .
