Iraq's cabinet decided on Tuesday to change the name of the Southern Oil Company in Basra Oil Company, as agreed to the establishment of an oil company Dhi Qar.
A statement issued by the Information Office of the Prime Minister and received a (long-Presse) a copy of it, that "the Iraqi Council of Ministers decided to change the name of the Southern Oil Company in Basra Oil Company."
The statement added, "The Council of Ministers also approved the establishment of Dhi Qar Oil Company."
