    [rtl]Said Water Resources Minister Mohsen al-Shammari, on Saturday, sending a draft contract with the Italian company on the Mosul dam maintenance to the cabinet, as he emphasized that the ministry is waiting for the "green light" from the board to sign the contract and direct actions, he pointed out that the contract includes the maintenance of the three joints of the dam .[/rtl]
    Mohsen al-Shammari said in an interview to the (long-Presse), "The ministry sent a draft contract with the Italian company, which will be carried out maintenance operations in Mosul Dam to the Cabinet discussed within the ministry."
    Shammari said, "The ministry waiting for the green light from the Council of Ministers to sign the contract with the Italian company to be implemented six months after the date of signature," noting that "the contract includes a maintenance of the three joints of a pool of calm and Overstuffing Lower and ports."
    Shammari said that "the contract does not include Badush Dam," describing, actually water in Iraq during the current year as "good somewhat compared to last year."
    Minister of Water Resources said that "water stocks for Iraq is much better than last year," and expressed hope that "water comes to us again."
    The Council of Ministers decided in (2 nd of February 2016), to approve the referral of rehabilitation plug connector to a company (Trevi Italian), according to the offer of the company mentioned exception of the Implementing Regulations of government contracts, as authorized the Ministry of Water Resources signing the contract with the company.
    He denied the Nineveh provincial council, in (the 22 of January 2016), the reports about the near collapse of the Mosul Dam, and described as "false rumors", and also confirmed that there is no problem in the dam "of concern", he pointed to the continued maintenance and Overstuffing for cracks dam operations .
    Revealed State in (the 12th of January 2016), sending surveillance equipment and experts to Iraq to assist in the evaluation of the Mosul Dam mode, stressing Washington's support for Baghdad to take required for the maintenance of the dam procedures and to prevent a humanitarian crisis from the virus, as well as awareness of the Iraqi people to damages that may occur in the event of cracks.
    The New York Times (The New York Times the US), revealed in (the 11th of January 2016), about the possibility of the death or displacement of more than a million and 500 thousand Iraqis living on the banks of the Tigris, including the capital Baghdad, if they collapsed Mosul Dam, and while It revealed the concern of the US administration that the call for the World Bank allocated $ 200 million loan for Iraq, for the dam maintenance work, quoted Iraqi officials reaffirmed the existence of a contingency plan to cope with the "disaster."
    The Ministry of Water Resources has renewed, in (20 December 2015), denied the existence of risks in the Mosul Dam, and confirmed that the dam works almost normal, and that the maintenance work going on in it.
