    The president of the Investment Authority Sami al-Araji, on Sunday, for the delivery of 100 residential units within the first meal of the housing units in the project Basmaja to their owners, and attributed the delivery to the gas pipeline construction was delayed, and as he emphasized that the first meal will be handed over in full within ten days, he noted that the Commission will develop a timetable for housing families in the project. 
    He said in an interview with (long-Presse) on the first batch of housing units delivered to the project Basmaja sidelines to their owners that "100 housing units today handed over the keys to their owners within the first batch of housing units for the project."
    Araji said that "the Commission is committed to deliver the housing units as prescribed timings," attributing the reasons for the delayed delivery of the first meal, "according to McCann decision of the end of 2015 for delay in laying gas pipelines to the project."
    The Chairman of the Commission that "from next Tuesday and in a week or ten days we will hand over all the first meal is represented by more than 3,000 housing units," pointing out that "after completion of the delivery of the first meal will set a timetable for housing families in the project."
    The National Investment Commission has identified, in (the twentieth of October 2015 the past), the end of the year to deliver the first meal of the residential units in the complex Basmajh residential, while confirmed the continuation of work on the project in accordance with the schedules set, it showed that services the foundation for the first meal will be completed in conjunction with delivery.
    The Korean company implementing the project Basmajh residential confirmed in (the 27 of December 2015 the past), the completion of the first unit of the project, which includes three thousand residential units, and its infrastructure, while called on Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, to develop ways of marketing units residential and securing financial benefits for the company.
    The Basmajh residential project, located about 30 km southeast of Baghdad, and it is hoped that boasts a hundred thousand units.
